simba

hi, i'm simba — a software engineer and cybersecurity researcher interested in open-source software, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and understanding how things work under the hood. i started building things because it was fun, and somehow that turned into spending way too much time figuring out how computers work.

i mainly work with javascript/typescript, php, python, and java, and i'm usually somewhere between web development, databases, security, and whatever else catches my attention. i'm also into linux, self-hosting, networking, and messing around with servers.

outside of programming, i'm usually solving security challenges, watching anime, listening to music, or getting distracted by a completely unrelated project. most of the things i build end up on github.

i've worked extensively on ctrlpanel, contributing across deployment, infrastructure, payments, and security. i've also built smaller projects, experiments, bots, and various pieces of software that started as "this should be easy" and absolutely were not.
